Maureen Denise McCormick, the only daughter of Richard McCormick, and Irene McCormick, was born in Woodland Hills California on 5 August 1956. Her father was a teacher as did her mother, who was a homemaker. Her older brothers are: Michael Dennis and Kevin. McCormick is always a fan of performing, dancing and performing performances with puppets. She won her first contest, the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest when she was just 6 years old and was then contacted by Pat Domigan, a talent agent of the Jack Wormser Agency. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was picked from a field of 1200 children who auditioned to be the youngest of three towheaded girls in the upcoming TV comedy The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with a blended family. The five-year run of the show proved to be a huge great success. McCormick disclosed the story Heres the Story.
