Jennifer was always hoping to become a multitasking superstar. In her youth Jennifer was fond of a variety of genres of music, particularly Afro-Caribbean songs like merengue salsa and the bachata. Also, she was a fan of mainstream music like hip-hop , and R&B. She was a lover of music, but was also fascinated by the cinema industry. West Side Story, a musical composed by Rita Moreno (1961), was her biggest inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer is also an entertainer as well as a Catholic girl, was a student for eight years at Holy Family Catholic Elementary School located in The Bronx. After completing an entire four-year period at the school, she was able to graduate from Preston High School, an all-girls prep school. Jennifer was a skilled athlete, who played track and fields and tennis at school , was also an excellent pupil. In the Castle Hill neighbourhood was her residence for the majority of her time. Jennifer relocated from the home she shared together with her parents when she was 18. Lopez was a lawyer in that time. She also attended night dancing classes.
